DESCRIPTION Reinforcing Powder is used when there is a need for more strength in the nails.
Reinforcing Powder is used when a customer is wearing Gelpolish nails but needs more strength in her nails. You recognize this when the customer returns and horizontal cracks from side wall to side wall have occurred, which means that too much movement is possible in the nail. You can then choose to use another product such as Building Base or a traditional gel, but you can also use reinforcing Powder. You spray or sprinkle Reinforcing Powder in the second yet uncured layer of Base & Top or a gel of your choice.
HOW TO USE REINFORCING POWDER? After the natural nails have been prepared, apply the first layer of Base & Top gel and cure it completely. This layer ensures the adhesion of the artificial product. Apply a second layer of Base & Top and spray or sprinkle a small amount of Reinforcing Powder into this layer. Make sure you do not apply Reinforcing Powder too close to the cuticle otherwise the product may come loose because it becomes too hard. When the Reinforcing powder is absorbed in the gel that has not yet hardened, tap the excess off the nail and fully cure the Base & Top. You can repeat this step if necessary. Apply a final layer of Base & Top gel to completely even out the nail. By using Reinforcing Powder you can make very thin but very hard nails that still have relatively little curvature. If you want to create more apex, opting for a thicker gel is wiser.
